Only an iPhone 4 will fit in this AirCurve's dock, but Griffin sells a model that's VGP-BPS13 compatible with the iPhone 3G/3GS. To amplify your sound, simply slip the iPhone 4 into the dock. You have to make sure, though, that the VGP-BPS13A/B iPhone's speaker is aligned with a small hole in the AirCurve. You'll know it's aligned correctly if you can access all the buttons on the phone. If your iPhone has a bulky case, you'll have to remove it. A metal stand lets you rest the dock in either landscape or portrait VGP-BPS13A/S mode.

Now that every other major carrier has released its version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab, VGP-BPS9/S it's only natural that AT&T has come out with its own flavor. This Android tablet is now offered on AT&T's site for $549 without a contract (down from VGP-BPS9/B $649 at launch). While it's nice that you're not locked into a two-year commitment and you can use the device overseas, AT&T doesn't offer much on the Tab that can't be found on the other VGP-BPS9A/B carriers.

Who says you need plugged-in speakers to let others enjoy tunes on your iPhone? VGP-BPS22 Griffin's AirCurve Play offers an impressive sound boost like no other unpowered amplifier we've tested. If you own an iPhone 4, there's no denying that this VGP-BPS22A $19.99 add-on is the king when it comes to battery-free audio enhancement.

Design
Made of hard clear plastic, the AirCurve Play measures 5 x 1.6 x 6.9 inches; the iPhone 4 fits snugly in a removable rubber VGP-BPS2 sleeve in the center. At 11.2 ounces, this accessory is bulkier than the rubbery Bone Horn Stand Amplifier (3.2 ounces), but much more portable than the unwieldy VGP-BPS2A Clingo Parabolic Sound Sphere (1.2 pounds).

Design
At 7.5 x 4.7 x 0.47 inches and 13.4 ounces, the AT&T VGP-BPS2B Galaxy Tab is the same size and weight as the other models. The only difference is the back: The AT&T Tab has a black checkered pattern, somewhat similar to the Verizon and T-Mobile versions; the Sprint Tab has an all-white VGP-BPS2C back.

In Linpack for Android, the AT&T Galaxy Tab scored 14, about the same as all the VGP-BPS8 other Galaxy Tabs, but far below the ViewSonic G Tablet (36.55), which uses Nvidia's Tegra 2 processor. The Archos 101 scored 10.3 on the same test. VGP-BPS8A On the An3DBench graphics test, the AT&T Tab scored 7,184; again, nearly identical to the other Galaxy Tabs, but well ahead of the Archos 101 (4,200) and the G Tablet VGP-BPS13A/Q (6,325).

Opening apps, swiping screens, and typing on the keyboards was for the most part swift and smooth, but VGP-BPS13/B we did notice a pause here and there.

Using an internal "coiled waveguide horn" which channels and amplifies the VGP-BPS13B/B sound from your iPhone's speakers, the Griffin AirCurve Play claims to add 10 decibels to your tunes. Unlike the other speakers we tested, this device consistently VGP-BPS13B/Q provided more volume than its manufacturer promised.

Display
The Galaxy Tab's 7-inch screen provides bright, colorful images at a high 1024 x 600-pixel resolution. Photos, VGP-BPS13/Q games, and videos from YouTube were a pleasure to watch.

Keyboards
Like the other Galaxy Tabs, AT&T's version comes with two keyboard options: a VGP-BPS21A/B Samsung keyboard and one from Swype, which lets you draw your finger from letter to letter to write words. One slight difference is that the area VGP-BPS21/S between the keys and the bottom row have a blue--rather than a gray--tint.

Performance
The AT&T Galaxy Tab has the same 1-GHz Samsung Cortez A8 Hummingbird processor as the other versions. It VGP-BPS21 has 16GB of onboard memory, and can accept microSD cards up to 32GB in size.

When we blasted Haddaway's "What Is Love" through the AirCurve, the speaker VGP-BPS21A added a whopping 14 decibels to the dance classic (76dB versus 90dB). Our coworkers said they could hear our music from across the office. Virtually VGP-BPS21B everything we played with the AirCurve sounded many times louder; whatever is going on inside the internal waveguide is working wonders.

Though the device adds plenty of volume, don't expect the richest, fullest sound. "I Got A Feeling" by the Black Eyed good battery Peas was loud but slightly muddled. When we played the same song with the Bone Horn Stand Amplifier, we got a slightly quieter 84dB, but the bass sounded dell akku richer. Playing the song with Clingo's Parabolic Sound Sphere gave us 82dB and sounded dim.

The biggest advantage of the dual-screen acer akku approach is that the grayscale screen is much more power efficient than the color LCD, so netbooks and tablets can last even longer on a charge.

Verdict
When it comes to portable passive amplifiers, you can't expect much more than this. The Griffin AirCurve fujitsu akku Play is the best bet for iPhone 4 owners looking for serious sound without any batteries or wires. At $19.99, it's cheaper than both the toshiba akku Bone Horn Stand Amplifier and the Clingo Parabolic Sound Sphere, and it blows those two out of the water when it comes to added volume.

Design
Hailing from ASUS’ Seashell line, the 1001P looks practically identical to the 1005PE-P. Though less svelte sony laptop akku than the inch-thick 1008HA, the 1001P has similar curved panels and a sharp look. Instead of a glossy lid that attracts asus laptop akku fingerprints, the 1001P has a white lid (also available in black) with a textured checkerboard pattern of tiny concentric squares. This matte lid keep smudges at bay, and it makes the 1001P look more expensive than its price suggests. Keyboard and Touchpad
Unlike the 1005PE-P, the 1001P doesn’t have an dell notebook akku island-style keyboard; rather, the keys (like those on the Dell Inspiron Mini 10) abut each other at the base, but are terraced and slightly smaller at the tops. While we didn't mind the 1005PE-P's keyboard, we found it a bit easier to type on the 1001P, acer battery especially given the relative size of netbook keyboards. More importantly, the right Shift key isn't shrunken (as on the apple battery 1005PE-P).

The white 2.5 x 1.4-inch touchpad is fairly easy to distinguish; while it sits flush with the ibm battery deck, it lacks the same pattern. Instead of the braille-like dots found on the 1005PE-P, this touchpad has a matte surface that exhibited very little friction. hp battery As with other Eee PCs, the touchpad also supports multitouch gestures; using two fingers to pinch and zoom in on a Web page in Internet Explorer was easy, and the image quickly rendered in its sony battery new size.
