Despite its small size, the dm1z is one of the coolest notebooks we've yet tested. Keyboard and Touchpad
Like most other notebooks in HP's lineup, the sony vgp-bps13as Battery dm1z has a chiclet-style keyboard that extends nearly to the edges of the chassis. Though the keys don't have as much travel as, say, the Envy 17, it was still a pleasure to type this review on the laptop. We were up to our usual typing rate in no time. Also like the Envy line, the dm1z's mouse buttons are integrated into the touchpad. In this case, though, HP integrated a small ridge to help define the two areas. HP is once again targeting the education market with its new Mini 1103 netbook. The top of the Mini 1103 stayed pretty cool, with the touchpad measuring only 85 degrees after playing a Hulu video at full screen hp probook 4510s battery for 15 minutes. Keyboard and Touchpad
The Mini 1103 doesn't have the modern chiclet-style hp elitebook 8730p battery layout of the Mini 210. However, the keys are well sized and placed, and we like the terraced treatment, which provides a better grip. Design
The HP Mini 1103's design is basic yet attractive. The overall aesthetic is closer to the Pavilion hp elitebook 8530p battery dm1 and dm3 rather than high-end business netbooks such as the Mini 5103. And that's what HP has delivered with the new Pavilion dm1z, an 11-inch notebook featuring AMD's new sony vgp-bps21 battery Fusion processor. Starting at $449 ($479 as configured), this 3.4-pound machine blows past Atom-based netbooks while providing enough sony vgp-bps21b battery endurance to see you through the day. Add to that a stylish design, excellent audio, and a comfy keyboard, and you've got a superior take-anywhere sony vgp-bps21/s battery laptop.

Design
Similar in design to the Pavilion dm3t, the Pavilion dm1z is easily one of the most attractive 11-inch systems on the market. The glossy sony vgp-bps21a battery black lid features HP's new Grid Imprint design, which looks attractive, but fingerprint smudges are still visible. Measuring 11.4 x 8.4 x 0.8 x 1.2 inches and weighing 3.4 pounds, the dm1z is nearly the same size and weight as the Asus Eee PC 1215N. As with that supersized netbook, Sony VGP-BPS2B Battery the dm1z fits easily into a messenger bag, and while noticeable, it didn't weigh laptop battery us down.

Display and Audio
One curious aspect of the 10.1-inch, 1024 x 600-pixel resolution screen on the Mini 1103 is that users Sony Laptop Battery can open it a full 180 degrees, allowing the entire netbook to lie flat. However, the viewing angles on the anti-glare display are somewhat narrow. The 1103's volume was surprisingly strong from the narrow speaker just under the netbook's front lip. Lenovo/IBM Laptop Battery We were able to fill a medium-sized room with audio with the volume on 70 percent. When watching Hulu videos, we didn't need to crank it up to hear. Sound was somewhat flat and a little tinny at the at the max, but that's to be expected.
