Design
At 11.6 x 7.6 x 0.6 inches and 2.2 pounds, the ExoPC Slate is the largest slate we've ever Sony VGP-BPS8A Battery reviewed and, by far the bulkiest (only the now-defunct Joo Joo tablet is bigger). That's significantly heavier than the rival Sony VGP-BPS2 Battery iPad (1.5 pounds) and more than twice as heavy as the Samsung Galaxy Tab (13.6 ounces). However, the ExoPC has a much larger display and has to accommodate larger components such as a fan to cool its Atom N450 CPU. When holding the tablet in our hands, we couldn't Sony VGP-BPS2A Battery help but notice the heft after even a couple of minutes of use.

The all-black design aesthetic is simple, but classy. We particularly like the highly grippable soft-touch Sony VGP-BPS2B Battery rubberized back, which has the attractive pink and green ExoPC logo emblazoned on it. Our biggest issue with the design, Sony VGP-BPS2C Battery other than the weight, is that the screen smudges up with fingerprints quickly.

The 11.6-inch, 1366 x 768 display offers more screen real estate and resolution than any other tablet on the market. Touch Experience
The ExoPC slate has a capacitive touchscreen that supports two-fingered gestures. It's no secret that Windows 7 is not the best operating system for tablets, mainly because of its mouse-centric t60p battery heritage. It covers Microsoft's desktop with an innovative custom interface that includes its own app store. But does the ExoPC Slate's uniqueness justify its $599 asking price?

If you're going to shell out $399 for a netbook, it has to be special. The Samsung NF310 makes the case for its premium price with a t40 battery futuristic-chic design, a dual-core Atom processor, and a high-resolution display (1366 x 768) for a 10-inch screen. While this mini laptop doesn't offer the longest good battery life, it's an excellent choice.

Display and Audio
You don't typically find a 1366 x 768-pixel display on a netbook,hp battery which makes the Samsung NF310 feel more like a regular laptop when surfing the web, working on documents, and performing other tasks. It just feels less claustrophobic. The 10.1-inch matte display has wide viewing angles, too, plus rich, deep dell battery colors. The two speakers sitting above the keyboard supplied great audio, especially for a netbook. Ports and Webcam

There is one other minor disappointment: Unlike recent N Series netbooks, this model doesn't come with a chargeable USB port, so users can't keep a phone or other bus-powered accessory powered while the NF310 is batteries asleep.
