With iPad users getting their music fix from iTunes VGP-BPS9/S and Android possibly getting a music update in the near future, Blackberry’s PlayBook seemed to have nowhere to turn to for music and media. However, thanks to a new partnership with 7Digital, the PlayBook tablet will come preloaded with access to the online store and numerous titles and albums. According to a press release by RIM, the 7Digital music store will come pre-installed with all PlayBooks VGP-BPS9/B and will allow access to DRM-free music. The 7Digital store features more than 13 million songs that are available in high quality formats (320kbps) and will be available on the PlayBook at the same price as their online website. Another feature announced by RIM, is the presence of a PlayBook podcast app that will allows users to download audio VGP-BPS9 and HD video podcasts. The podcasts have been for the most part a feature of Apple and iTunes, and the new PlayBook app could prove to be an appealing alternative. Both the podcast and music app were previewed on Blackberry’s YouTube channel (video featured below) and seem to look VGP-BPS9A/B and work nicely. The PlayBook features a 7” LCD with 1024x600 pixel resolution, a 1GHz Dual-Core TI OMAP processor, 1GB RAM, a 5MP rear-facing camera VGP-BPS13 and comes with Blackberry’s custom tablet OS. Both the tablet and accompanying music and podcast apps should be available for preview at South by Southwest this week in Austin, Texas. Get your browsers VGP-BPS13a/s and refresh buttons ready; Apple will officially begin iPad 2 preorders with free shipping through its online Apple Store tomorrow March 11th at 1AM pacific standard time. If brick-and-mortar shopping is preferred, customers can begin purchasing VGP-BPS13a/b and getting hands-on experience with Apple’s latest tablet at 5PM the same day. Besides the Apple Store, other retail chains will also be carrying the new iPad, including AT&T, Verizon, Best Buy, Target and Walmart. Last week, Apple announced the iPad 2 at an event in San Francisco Akku Dell Vostro 1000 and quickly slashed prices on all first gen iPad models by at least $100 in an attempt to clear stock. Any shortages of the new iPad is not expected to last long as Apple will reportedly ship around 40 million units by the end of this year. For a processor designed around ultra-low Akku Dell Latitude E5510 voltage use, the Intel Atom Z670 won’t be coming cheap for manufacturers according to a Fudzilla report. The Oak Trail processor is expected to cost $75 at launch, making it more expensive than any previously released Atom CPU. In comparison, Nvidia’s competitive Tegra 2 platform is reportedly as low as $20 USD per chipset, almost three times cheaper than the new Intel Atom. This is likely due to the core architectural difference between the processors, as the Tegra series is based off of ARM’s Cortex –A9 core while the Atom uses the more traditional Akku Dell Latitude E5410 x86 design. The steep price of the Z670 could mean tablet manufacturers may prefer producing Tegra-based products over using the Atom. In turn, there would be more Tegra tablets running Google’s Android compared to Atom-based tablets, which would be an unwanted outcome for Intel in general. Intel would need to cut the production costs of the new Atom quickly if the company wishes to compete with Nvidia VGP-BPS13/q and Qualcomm. The Atom Z670 will be a single-core CPU with a low 3W thermal design power. The processor will be featured in a number of upcoming tablets such as the Samsung Slide 7 Akku Dell Latitude E4310 and the Fujitsu Stylisitic Q550. The recent Sendai earthquake measuring about 8.9 on the Richter scale Akku Dell Latitude E6510 and the subsequent massive tsunami have unfortunately left its mark on some of Japan’s major electronics factories. Sony could be one of the hardest hit tech companies, as TechEye is reporting evacuations from up to six factories in Northeastern Japan. These facilities were responsible for manufacturing laser diodes found in laptop Akku Dell Latitude E6410 and computer disc drives. Sony will be looking at the affects of the outages and damages before considering the next appropriate action, a company spokesperson told Business Week. Similarly, Toshiba, Sharp, Sanyo Akku Dell Latitude E6500 and Panasonic have halted production in a number of factories according to ComputerWeekly. Toshiba in particular had to close down a plant responsible for making microcontrollers and its NAND Flash production factory could possibly be affected. The company supplies a major percentage of the NAND memory chips used in worldwide consumer electronics, including the Apple iPad, and LSE claims that prices for these flash chips could jump due to the impact of the tsunami. “Japan produces around 20-25% of world silicon chip production,” says semiconductor analyst Malcolm Penn. Toshiba Akku Dell Latitude E6400 and SanDisk can account for half of the world’s NAND Flash assembly, a technology that is currently high in demand this year due in part by the rise of tablets and solid state drives. Although such production disruptions and resulting market price increases have happened in the past, companies are still assessing the damage done by the Sendai earthquake on the overall electronics supply chain. Industry analysts from iSuppli predict disruption in worldwide semiconductor supplies during the next two weeks, based on preliminary assessment. Hopefully, Japan will make a swift recovery as it continues to gain financial Akku Dell Latitude E5400 and personnel support from around the world. Expect more news to come as the dust clears and situation improves. tag:Akku Lenovo T61,Akku Lenovo R61,Akku Lenovo R60,Akku Lenovo T60,Akku Lenovo T60P,Akku Lenovo R60E,Akku Lenovo R61I,Akku Lenovo R61E,Akku Lenovo T61P,KaufenAkkus.com,Lenovo Akku PR |
