2011,Motorola Xoom possibly will come to Sprint

The latest Motorola tablet has been getting lots of headlines, but not all are exactly praising the device. Recent Xoom sales VGP-BPS9/S and benchmarks, for example, appear to pale against the giant that is Apple’s iPad 2. Perhaps it is for these reasons that recent leaks about the device coming to the Sprint network are currently appearing.

Forum site Sprint Users is claiming that the Motorola Xoom is making its way to a new network, with picture proof of the tablet sporting the Sprint logo. According to Electronista, this information is from the same forum member that leaked the MiFi 4082 last December VGP-BPS9/B and may hold credibility for this latest rumor.

The 10.1-inch Xoom is currently available through Verizon Wireless with a Wi-Fi only model coming later this month. Whether VGP-BPS9A/B or not the Xoom tablet for Sprint would be WiMAX-compatible is unknown, but certainly users shouldn’t have to go through the whole returning process in order to outfit their newly purchased tablets with 4G support.

If rumors are true, chances are we should be hearing official announcements directly from Sprint at the CTIA trade show this month beginning March 21st. Hopefully, we can expect more information VGP-BPS9 and surprises from phone carriers during the event.

Toshiba Tablet pops up on laptopbatterymag.com

It’s not often that a tablet is officially announced toshiba pa3356u-1brs battery and detailed for so long without receiving a name, yet Toshiba seems to be doing exactly that with their new Android tablet. The Honeycomb tablet was already previewed at the MWC and CES conferences earlier this year along with an official teaser site; however, mums the word on any specific name for the tablet. And although some might have expected a name to come along with any official product listings, the tablet’s Amazon.com page has gone live without any name in sight.

The Amazon listing for a “10.1” Toshiba Android Tablet” appeared earlier today, toshiba pa3356u-1bas battery and sadly doesn’t seem to offer any new details about the device. It merely confirms the Tegra 2 processor, the 10.1” display with a 1280x800 pixel resolution and the 5.0 MP rear-facing camera. Other specs listed on the page include HDMI out, USB, mini-USB, an SD card reader, Bluetooth, and a user-replaceable battery.

While the Amazon listing doesn’t add much, it does show some interesting images of the Easy-Grip interchangeable hp envy 17 battery back covers. According to the description the covers will be available in various colors and should help make the tablet stand out. The images provided on the Amazon listing do show the tablet as being quite thick; however, there is a certain appeal to the rubberized back in our opinion.

Earlier this month, a Toshiba Australia executive challenged the iPad 2 by stating: “We believe that our device is superior to the Apple device, it may be a little heavier (773g) but it does have a lot of features that the iPad 2 does not have”. The executive also went on to say that the Tablet Lenovo ideapad u550 battery will ship sometime in May for a price similar to the iPad 2 but without any network commitments.

While the only info we have about the Toshiba tablet’s name is the possibility of it going by the moniker of Antares, it still looks to be heavyweight contender in the tablet arena. Toshiba hasn’t kept from taking shots at the opposition, hp presario cq72 battery and we can only hope that the tablet will be able to back up their claims when it finally ships.
